Waunarlwydd gained revenge for their loss earlier in the season by a small margin and down to No 8 Caroline Burt's kicking ability converting 2 tries and 1 penalty
Whitland scored after 15min when centre Sian Robinson broke through for the unconverted try, 5mins later waunarlwydd's No 8 Caroline Burt crossed for a try which she converted. Whitland's No 9 Rosie Hutton increased Whitland's lead with a solo unconverted try after 35min but Waunarlwydd held the lead at half time after centre Amy Kelly crossed for an unconverted try to leave the half time score 12-10 in favour of the visitors.
Whitland took the lead after 10mins of the half when quick thinking by scrum half Rose Hutton taking a quick tap penalty and touching down for again an unconverted try. Caroline Burt leveled the scores after 20 mins with a penalty and Waunarlwydd took the lead when winger Tara Neale crossed for a try which Burt converted. Whitland did score again when No 8 Liz Thomas touched down and again the conversion was missed and with some 8 mins left Whitland failed to get the match winning try and lost due to the fact that no one could convert any of the tries with two of them from in front of the posts.
