With their first home game of the season the Ladies got back to winning ways by beating a very tough outfit from Birchgrove by 12 points to 7 . The game was held up in the second half for 25 minutes when Birchgrove's second row Jess O'Brien injured her shoulder and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance .The score was 7 all at half time Whitland's try scored by flanker Sioned Harries converted by Lucy Peach , Birchgrove's try scorer was Cherry Morris which was converted by Michaela Reed .
Whitland winning score came from an unconverted try by Lucy Peach late in the second half to give the Ladies a deserved second league victory
